California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation Board of Directors member Larry Bowman's recipe for living is giving.  Since he first became involved with the 11-99 Foundation just a handful of years ago, Larry Bowman has been a passionate and focused agent for smarter and better service to support the efforts of the men and women of the California Highway Patrol. 

In service to the Foundation as our Chief Investment Officer, under Larry's stewardship, the Foundation's endowment has realized remarkable growth over the last few years--out-performing the growth rates of most of the 11-99 Foundation's peer group nonprofit organizations and surpassing the rates of return realized by many other nonprofits that are significantly larger than the CHP 11-99 Foundation.

Larry also has been the prime mover and principal architect behind the 11-99 Foundation's state-of-the-art Scholarship application system, which has enabled the members of the Foundation's Board of Directors to award nearly $6 million in post-secondary level educational Scholarships to thousands of eligible students in the last four years alone.
