Donor and Supporter Information for California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation Events

California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation events require the support of many friends and donors, so that special items are available for our drawings and auctions. Some examples of gifts that CHP 11-99 Foundation event participants value are:

• Resort Homes: If you have a beautiful mountain, ocean, or desert resort home, donating it for a weekend or a week is a great auction item.

• Travel: Continental U.S., Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas, international airline or cruise tickets for a couple (or perhaps you have excess air miles that could be redeemed for a fun or exotic trip) always are extremely popular.

• Hotel and Resort Packages: Also ever-popular are beautiful hotels and resorts, two- or three- or five-night stays, at venues such as Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Reno, The Caribbean, Hawaii, and Paris.

• Sporting Events: Tickets for professional or college events, e.g., The Super Bowl, The Rose Bowl, or San Francisco Giants, Oakland A's, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, etc.; or providing a trip for two to travel with a team, stay at the team's hotel, and eat with the players, as well as spring training packages.

• Jewelry: Jewelry for him, her, or both, remains ever-popular.

• Golf Packages: Packages for four at beautiful private golf clubs (the more difficult it is to receive an invitation, the more valuable it becomes to the purchaser) are very desirable.

• Fine Dining: Dinner packages at 4- and 5-Star restaurants, as well as very nice dinner houses, all make great donations.

• Nights on the Town: A night out at the theater or symphony, combined with a dinner package and a one night stay at a lovely hotel, makes a wonderful package.

• Libations: Donating beverages for events and auctions also is very much appreciated.

• Apparel: If you are involved with the clothing industry, and would like to donate jackets, golf shoes, sweaters, pullovers, etc., for 150, 200, or 250 golfers, you would be doing something special to enhance the success of CHP 11-99 Foundation events.

• Electronics: Televisions, stereos, CD players, DVD players/recorders, and the like, are welcome.
